The sponsors for this race were Bayou Suspension, Mxprints, Honda and Husquvarna. We fianally had some luck on our side and didn't get rained on.  The Race course was great, everyone said the course was the best ever for Desoto Motorsport as the race progressed moister came up making for perfect terrain. We would like to give a big thanks to Trampas Parker and his family for helping get the trails ready and allowing us to race on there property.

Forrest Smith 1st Overall

Corey Altazin 1st XC2

Clint Woods 2nd XC2

Wesley Burks got the hole shot with Forrest Smith (Fly Racing, WPS, Yamaha) making the move to the front quickly and never looked back all the way to the finish taking first overall. Hutton Woods (Woods tank, Mikes Cycle, KTM) Rode a great race putting in a solid 2nd Overall. Dakota Smith (KTM) rode flawless and took 3rd Overall. John Mclemore (Mikes Cycle, KTM) had some great battles with Corey Altazin and Clint Woods working his way up to 4th Overall. Corey Altazin (Fly Racing, WPS, KTM) put in one his best rides finishing 5th Overall.

XC2 Class: Corey Altazin And Clint Woods Battling for championship.

We had a three way battle in the XC2 class for most of the race. Corey Altazin got the lead first with Clint Woods and Zach Ramblin right on his heals. Zach worked his way in to first leaving Corey and Clint to battle for a little over half the race. Then Corey and Clint make the pass back on Zach with Corey taking the Win in XC2 and Clint right on his back tire as they come threw the scoring tent and Zach taking and Zach rounding out the top three in XC2. With one more race to go in the 2012 LACC series Corey Altazin and Clint Woods are dead even in points, whoever wins the last race wins the championship. There was also a great battle in the PEEWEE class Austin Bradford and Zorion Mcclarity battled all the way to the checkered flag with Austin taking the win and Zorion all over his back tire.

       Zach Ramblin (KTM) XC2 3rd

We had a pit bike race on Saturday afternoon, which turned out great with 10 riders competing. Everyone that raced said it was fun. There was a great battle for the lead between Cory Altazin and Dillon VanWay all the way down to the last turn with Dillon taking the win. We like to give a special thanks to the Trampas Parker and his family for getting the trails ready and letting us race on there property.
