Cole Kirkpatrick's Race
Report from National Enduro Round 1
HERE.
"...The tests were all over ten miles in
length and I knew going into the race, fatigue
would be my biggest challenge! I rode well all
day but I could feel my aggression fade in every
test at about the six-mile marker. A few times,
Brad Bakken caught me from a minute back
and that would always
make me wake up and attack. Brad was riding
awesome..."

Not
long ago USA's Ricky Dietrich announced that
he'd be competing in the British Sprint Enduro
Championship on his new Husqvarna. The
latest news is that KTM's Taddy Blazusiak will

Thanks for watching,
we've passed
1,500 views on our
preview video for the 2nd Annual Off-Road Cup
event taking place Feb. 25th! We've had
several people ask if was ok to only have two
riders on
a team - that is fine, you'll just be at a
little bit of a disadvantage -but certainly ok
with us. You can also send in with "TBD"
as the third rider on the team. the team.
Please make sure that you and your riding
buddies know that after February 15th the entry
price goes up. We're trying to give
ourselves time to make some pretty little team
signs for pit lane, pre-printed decals for the
number plates, etc.

Young Jessica DeLee is
fueled up on Red Fin Energy and ready for the
2012 LACC Series in the Girls class!
(#812)
DeLee steadily improved last year racing against
some older girls. She finished on the
podium at Van Way Moto Playground, The Jim
Bowie, the Don Burgess Memorial round, and then
WON at Hall's Hazzard County in Ethel, LA.
Good luck to everyone this coming up season, it
should be another fun one!

Team Shenandoah
Honda/Offroadchampions get wet at Round 1 of the
AMA/Rekluse National Enduro Series.
"Sumter South Carolina is where the Honda
supported Shenandoah Honda/Offroadchampions team
made their debut. Rider Thad Duvall was anxious
to do well and please his new managers and
sponsors. Thad started test one with a solid
seventh place, 39 seconds of the pace of later
winner Steward Baylor. In the second section,
Thad scored another 7th place, getting used to
his new bike, a bike that he never raced before.
Soon into the third test he started to
experience some mechanical problems and had to
slow down.
Unable to really fix the problem, he continue
the race and made it to the finish in 18th place
in the Pro class and just missing the top 20
overall.
The team learned a lot about the bike and what
needs to improve before the next round in 3
weeks (Georgia).
The team would like to thank every sponsor of
the team, without them this effort would not be
possible." OffroadChampions Photo
Here's a brief preview of the FUN coming up at
Rnd 1 of the 2012 LACC Series. Top area mx

came the cell phone camera...as you'll see we
made some new trail sections and the mx track #2
in dirt pit was slowed down...no more turning
the two small tabletops into one big double (as
shown by Trampas Parker at the beginning of this
2011 video with 775 views!)

In order to continue to
allow KTM's smallest bike (the "50 Mini") in the
LACC Beginner PeeWee class we had to make a
minor revision to the
Series Rules.
Max seat height for the class has now been
changed from 21.7" to 22". The latest
published technical details that we
found on the Mini shows a seat height of 21.97".
While modifying the Rules we also put a note
about riders who are carrying over winter break
injuries can work the first round.
We encourage everyone to
PRINT the series rules, actually READ through
them, and keep a copy in your rig.

Thanks to Jim Barrett in South Louisiana for
passing this on. The Recreational
Trails Program (RTP) is in deep trouble.
Originally known as the Symm's Act, the RTP has
been a major, often single source of motorized
trail funding in Louisiana and across the
nation. If you ride on a public trail in
Louisiana it has been funded by RTP. Without
future funding existing trails will not be
maintained and future trails not constructed.
Survival of RTP is vital to our recreation. RTP
funding ceases March 31, 2012. Please don't put
this aside. RTP will be saved by a grass root
effort of all trail enthusiasts. Please see
