Contest Results: Congrats to Kelly Crenshaw who edged out Stephen Reed by exactly 1 minute! Crenshaw will receive a free AcadianaRacing.com t-shirt. Thanks to everyone else who sent in your guesses; several got it correct...this Enduro / Hare Scramble racer from Louisiana is Bruce Comeaux - one of the core staff members of the LACC Series. Kids, this is back when bikes were air cooled, had drum brakes, dual shocks, metal tanks, etc... The action shot was taken at the Turkey Creek Round of the "LA Hare Scramble Championship Series" - bike is a late seventies Husqvarna 2-stroke 390. This rider went on to race Husky 420 and 430 auto's in the early eighties and was a top 20 rider in the Southern Enduro Riders Association. Click photo to enlarge. |

Round 5 of 10 - The Jim Bowie! GNCC Pro Morgan Moss (FAR Husqvarna / Fly / EKS Brand Goggles / Maxxis) takes the Overall win! Conditions were hot and dusty but that didn't stop a nice crowd of over 400 from checking out the racing action - thanks for coming, see you after the summer break! Pictured: Morgan Moss middle, Bryan Vaughan left, and Andy Beebe right. Results | Points Standings | Race Report |
| Nice XC1 holeshot by Jake Haddox, defending Champ Trampas Parker was running near the front until flat tire, OMA Pro Michael Williams was planning to attend but tore a ligament practicing - we wish him a speedy recovery. Bryan Vaughan charged hard to work his way up from a bad start to second place (only 1 minute behind Moss). Andy Beebe impressed the crowd by leading the first three laps on a borrowed 300cc (usually rides 250). Jason Harvey had bike |

still leads the points chase by 12 points over Haddox and
Ryan Breaux who are tied for 2nd!
